On Sunday 23rd February, our team traveled to Dunfermline to play in the Scottish National Chess League, Rounds 5 and 6.

In the early round starting at 10am we faced CSBOS 1 (aka Bank of Scotland) and won 2-3. Afternoon round we played against Stepps and scored another victory with the final score 3,5-1,5.

Well done to all players who participated! Those 2 victories might be crucial in our efforts to remain in Division 1, which is now the most likely scenario.

And of course I couldn’t leave you without a tactic. It is BLACK to play and win!
