March Has been quite a busy month for Bon Accord, with the club participating in games in Dunfirmline for SNCL, Dundee for the Richardson Cup and at home in aberdeen for the NE League.
Richardson Cup
Last Year, we managed to get to the finals of the richardson cup, this year we had hoped to get there again. This hope was unfortunately short lived as the bonaccord team went up against Dundee, with every board out rating us by around 200 points. The results show a hard fought and close matchup, with the entire result changing with only half a point. Maybe Next Year!!

NE League Rnd 8
Round 8 for the Bon Accord club was played this month for both teams at home.
Bon Accord Rooks emerged with a draw result against League No 2 Stonehaven Carron. This keeps Bon Accord Rooks top of the table ever since round 1 with Stonehaven Carron still number 2.

SNCL Rnd 7 & 8
Bon Accord played 2 rounds in Dunfirmline for the Scottish National Chess League in Division 1. For rounds 7 & 8 we played againstd Dundee City B & Edinburgh West 1, a tough matchup in the afternoon game.

Unfortunately could not get good results against Hamilton A with only 2 draws being managed by Bob and Jan . Bon Accord did however earn a nice victory against Dundee city B keeping us in 8th place and out of relegation with only 1 round to go, very likely we will stay division 1 by end of the season.
