Bon Accord chess club played against Dundee today (Saturday 5th April) for the semi-finals of Richardson Cup.

Our team won 5.5 – 2.5 against very strong opposition and went through to the final of the Cup!

That’s where Edinburgh will be waiting for us, a formidable opponent with several titled players included in their team.

The final will take place on the 3rd of May with the playing venue to be confirmed.

Congratulations to all players who participated today for their fighting spirit! With such mindset, I wouldn’t be surprised if our team actually wins the Cup!
