Bon Accord Chess Club AGM

Summary

The Club is in a good position. It was great to see so many new and familiar face back playing chess over the board last season. There were 42 memberships taken out, including 2 family memberships so nearly 50 players.

Fees

Finances are strong and we made a surplus over the year. So, we agreed to keep Club fees the same as last season.

Adult £100

Junior/ Concession £50

Family £150

Country £35

Opening times

We agreed Wednesday night opening 7-10pm.

Sunday afternoons 2-5pm provided there is interest. This would be for both coaching and games. Could even open until 6pm on Sundays.

Also check if there would be interest in another chess night (post meeting Mondays are busy so would have to be Fridays) We would need more key holders and may have to put fees up to cover costs.
