The Lothians congress was held at Wester Hailes education centre in Edinburgh on the 19th and 20th of September.

There were a couple of notable results from Bon Accord players.

In the major Tariq Pasha finished equal first with an unbeaten 4/5 score, winning a major for the first time. Meanwhile In the open Euan Gray, who was the second lowest rated player, won the under 1800 grading prize with a score of 3.5/5 including a draw in the last round with FIDE master (and two time Scottish champion) Alan Tate.

Other Bon Accord players were competing in the minor where Nandini Dutta, Oishani Dutta and Aditya Hegde scored 2.5/5, 2/5 and 1.5/5 respectively.
